Merle Farrell Obituary
A Celebration of Life will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the American Legion "Dugout." Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Merle was born on November 2, 1950 in Ottawa, son of Arman Farrell and Josephine (Westcott) Farrell. He married Debra Cross on May 1, 1980 in Ottawa. He was a five-time golden glove champion, avid outdoorsman, and President of the Turtle Club. He loved spending time with his family and friends and fishing in Bemidji, MN, where he went for 53 years straight.
He is survived his wife, Debra; two children, Jennafer M. and Tyler J. Farrell; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Cindy Hughes and Debbie Farrell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Carol and Mary, and brother Mike.
