Chad Mallard Obituary

STATESBORO, Ga. - Chad Thomas Mallard, age 47, died at his residence on Monday, April 9, 2018.

The Bulloch County native was a 1989 graduate of Statesboro High School and attended Georgia Southern University.

Chad worked in food and beverage and was employed with Westin Resort in Hilton Head for over 12 years and at the Westin Vail Colorado for many years. He also worked on the Quick and Reilly sailboat for many seasons.

He loved sailing, scuba diving, skydiving and riding his motorcycle.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Statesboro.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Mallard.

Surviving are his mother, Donna Denmark Mallard; a sister, Bridgette Odom; and a brother, Eric Mallard, all of Statesboro; and several nieces and nephews, Keagan Odom, Logan Odom, Ethan Mallard, Robert Mallard, Faith Mallard, Reagan Mallard and Brenna Berry.

A service will be held at a later date.
