Lillie Tremble Obituary

Mrs. Lillie Mae Tremble, age 90, passed peacefully on Tuesday morning, December 15, 2009, at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center after an extended illness. She was a Bulloch County native and a member of Magnolia Baptist Church, where she served as the Church Mother.
She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters and seven sons, Verna Bennett of Statesboro, Ga., Ruby Phillips, Shirley Huff, Anna Childers, all of Baltimore, Md., John Bradshaw Jr., Lamar Tremble, Arthur Tremble Jr. and Roy Tremble, all of Statesboro, Thomas Tremble of Walterboro, S.C., and Curtis Tremble and John Willie Bradshaw of Baltimore, Md.; three sisters, Beulah Davis, Ella M. Simon, both of Waycross, Ga., and Mattie Williams, Statesboro, Ga.; two brothers, Ben Dukes and Walter Dukes, both of Waycross, Ga.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Baptist Church, 760 Magnolia Church Road, with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, eulogist, and Pastor Ira Hendrix, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Lillie Mae Tremble will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour. There will be no viewing after the eulogy.
