Robert Moir Obituary

Robert W. Moir III, 77, of Warren, Maine, father of "PHILMORE" died at PBMC on Saturday, June 30, 2007, with his family at his side.
Robert was born April 30, 1930, in Holden, Mass., the son of Robert Moir II and Mary Ellen Moore Moir. He attended school in Auburndale and Newton, Mass.
Robert was a surveyor for Feldman Engineering of Boston, Mass. Some projects Robert worked oil include the Boston Central Artery, Route 128 and the Cyclotron at Harvard + MIT. U pon moving to Maine with his family in 1960 he became a cabinet maker, building and installing many kitchens in the mid-coast area. After retirement Robert and his wife, Phyllis, traveled extensively throughout the North American Continent.
He is predeceased by his father, mother, sister, Anna Louise and son, Phillip"PHILMORE" of Brooklet, Ga., who died in the years 1959, 1979, 1999 and 2004 respectively.
He is survived by: his wife, Phyllis Tolman; his son, Clarence (Spady) Moir of Union; daughter, Elaine Moir of Warren; grandsons, Christopher and Jeremy Moir of Brooklet, Ga.; grandson, Grant Moir-Brandow of Maine & New York, N.Y.; great grandchildren Andrew and Caitlin Moir of Brooklet, Ga.; nephew, Robert Banks of New Bedford, Mass., and his wife, Louise.
A private memorial service will be held at the family's convenience.
Arrangements under the direction of Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Waldoboro, Maine.

Dear Phyllis and Elaine, Grant and other family, I am saddened to hear of Bud's passing. Please accept my sympathy and prayers for you all. He was a great man and a good man, a man whom I admired very much. May God bless you and keep you always, you are in my thoughts. With respect, Debby Porter
