Adolf Buesing Obituary

(10/12/2003) Adolf Buesing, 92, of Runge, Texas, died Saturday, October 11, 2003, in Cuero, Texas. He was born in Nordheim, Texas, September 21, 1911, to the late John and Clara Denecke Buesing. He was a retired farmer and rancher. He had been named Outstanding Farmer of the Year and was an active member of the Karnes County Farm Bureau. He retired from the Runge Volunteer Fire Department and he was active in the Senior Fellowship in Runge. He is survived by two sons, Royce Buesing and wife Rita of Victoria, Texas, Jerry Buesing and wife Georgia of Cedar Creek, Texas; grandson, Craig Buesing and wife Jessica of Austin, Texas, grandson, Russell Buesing and wife Lori of Victoria, Texas; granddaughter, Melissa Jackson and husband Rob of Cedar Park, Texas, granddaughter, Renee Buesing and fiancee, Chris Betz of Austin, Texas; sisters, Amalie Koerner of Nordheim, Texas, Anita Beck of Houston, Texas, and Margaret Frazier of Nordheim, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Hertha Buesing, and a brother Johnny Buesing. Family visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday October 12, 2003, at Janssen Funeral Home in Runge, Texas. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 13, 2003, at Janssen Funeral Home, with Rev. Edwina Baethge officiating. Interment will follow at Runge Cemetery. Memorial contribution can be made to the Runge Fire Department, Runge Cemetery, or St. Paul Lutheran Church in Runge. Arrangements by Janssen Funeral Home, 204 N.
