Angeline Cowan

(07/24/2003) Angeline Cowan, age 86, of Austin, born October 31, 1916, in Bremond, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2003, due to diabetes and other complications. She was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. She retired from Motorola, where she was employed as a cafeteria employee. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Warhol Smith and husband, Jim of Austin; brother, Ed Bulgawich; and sister, Marie Brigance, both of Del Valle; grandson, George Smith of Austin; nieces, Doris Rekieta of Bremond, Texas, Barbara Rolling of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Loretta Parker of Vermont; and a number of other relatives and friends. Rosary Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2003, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2003, at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 12041 Bittern Hollow with Father Bill Brooks, Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Cowan's memory to the American Diabetes Association, Memorial and Honor Program, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, Ohio 44720.
