Anna Lung Obituary

Anna Louise Lung Anna Louise Lung, of Cedar Park, passed away peacefully on March 16th. She was 88. Mrs. Lung and her husband owned Lung's Chinese Kitchen and later Cocina Del Sur Mexican Restaurant in Austin, TX. They retired from the business in 1982. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Joe "J.J." Lung and son Donnie Lung and wife Linda, and beloved pet Peanut. Survivors include son, Jamie Lung of Austin; daughters and sons-in-law, Candy and Pat Sughrue of Cedar Park and Toya and Gary Woodruff of Bastrop; grandchildren, Don Lung Jr., Scott Walker, Jason Walker, Natalie Lung, Eric Sughrue and wife Kara, Todd Sughrue and Veronica, Amber Carroll and husband Keith, Duane Woodruff and wife Ashton, Melissa Kennard and husband Brett; 10 great-grandchildren; Aunt Florence; and numerous other nephews, nieces, and cousins. Pallbearers are Scott Walker, Jason Walker, Eric Sughrue, Todd Sughrue, Keith Carroll and Duane Woodruff. Heartfelt thanks to Hospice Health Care provided by Odyssey Health Care, and the caring staff at Sagebrook Health Center in Cedar Park, as well as Seton Williamson. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity or cause. Funeral services will be Friday, March 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Beck Funeral Home, 1700 East FM 1431, with the burial to be at Austin Memorial Park on Hancock Drive in Austin.

Mrs. Lung was my father's nurse for many years before his death in 1980. She was a good friend and faithful employee. She will always be remembered in our family. I remember as a child, she and Mr. Lung and my father going back and forth on whether you could freeze eggrolls. I think my dad finally convinced them
