We were privileged to meet Beverly when we were invited to her home for Thanksgiving last year (we were "homeless" for the holidays). We had not known Beverly before, but we were both so touched by her kindness and generosity toward us and truly blown away by her scientific accomplishments. We are so happy to have had the opportunity to get to know her but are greatly sadenned that it turned out to be for the last time. May God keep her. Her memory remains in our hearts and we are keeping her and her surviving family in our prayers.

I have known Beverly since I was a little boy, when my grandparents moved in as her next-door neighbors in Summerwood. Bev was always the sweetest woman, caring for us, being there with birthday wishes and just good conversation.

I and my family will miss her.
