Bryant Berry Obituary

BERRY JR., Bryant Bryant Berry Jr., a long time resident of Lakeway, was born on December 23, 1937 to Sibyl Smith Berry and Albert Bryant Berry in Temple, Texas. He was a 1955 graduate of Temple High School, a 1959 graduate of Baylor University and a 1973 graduate of South Texas College of Law. Bryant passed away on September 15, 2020 following a lengthy illness. In 1957 he married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Edith Ann Tomlin who preceded him in death in 1987. He was preceded in death also by his parents, his older sister Carrick Ann Berry (Rue) Tauch. He is survived by his younger sister Rebecca Dan Berry Tanner of Sierra Vista, Arizona and 6 nephews and nieces. Bryant, known as Toozy and Cotton within his family, loved playing the piano and organ and singing. He was always the life of the party. In younger years he was an avid runner and completed 2 marathons and several half marathons. He was loved by many and is missed.

Bryant was such a wonderful guy. Very kind and generous with his time. I enjoyed Riverbend Choir with him.

Bryant, was areally nice guy and a loyal friend. He always seem to enjoy life and he was a pleasure to around. He was also a churchgoing man, and a true believer in God.
