You are remember, my friend, on many days, not just this one.

Just this morning, I mentioned to Jacquita Chris' upcoming birthday, that I miss my friend, and how much pleasure (and relief) he would have taken from Joe Biden's victory and his turn of fortune over the past month. Becoming Chris' friend, and meeting him as a STE brother, was a highlight of the last decade here in Austin.

We went to Law School together. He was a great guy. Sad for his families loss.

I was blessed to join him on his journey, he was an a amazing man with an abundance of love for his family. Every visit, phone call, email, or text he was positive. He will forever remain a light in my experience as an Oncology nurse.

I had the privilege of working with Chris for several years at GDHM and being one of his law partners. (and fellow Baylor Law Alum) He was a smart, funny, and caring person who contributed so much to the community and to good causes. My deepest sympathies to Tish and the kids and the rest of the family and to Chris' other family at GDHM.

Chris was such a fine lawyer and strong soul who was talented in bringing people together to create solutions. He made Baylor proud. I loved that he was so close to his Dad. His death is a tremendous loss for Tish, his family and our entire community. Blessings upon you for laying his ashes under the stars of West Texas--that comforts me somehow. There is no question that Chris and RBG will be getting along, sharing stories, watching that 'big wonderful thing' we call Texas.

I knew Chris as a fellow lawyer and a fellow parent of a 10-year-old boy. He was always willing to talk and just beamed with positivity. He loved his family and spoke so highly of his children. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Chris Elliott was a very amiable and like-able individual that had a delightful reserve about himself that made him a very special person. My family has wonderful memories of our times together with Chris supporting Longhorn athletic events.
Chris was a local sports hero during his high school years in Commerce, Texas, and because of his humility and modest reserve, he seemed to always downplay the admiration. He was a very humble person and will be missed very much by all.
Chris Elliott has closed his eyes and gone to his eternal home after a lengthy health battle and difficult period for him, Tish, his family and friends. The long ordeal is over and I’m confident that our friend has been blessed by the Lord and can now Rest In Peace.
