Gone, but not forgotten. Taking this time to remember David allows me to reflect on where I have come from my the low point in my life, and where I am right now. David helped me be the person I am today.

A coach. A confessor. A healer. A friend. And such a good, good man who had an amazing ability to connect with people at their most vulnerable. I am beside myself in grief and can't even imagine what his wife and best friends are going through. God bless them. I trust that the priceless counseling he instilled in me over the years will sustain me. I can let go. May the loving goodness he brought to so many people carry him to everlasting peace. Goodbye.

I am so deeply saddened to read this news. David was very loved and did indeed have a tremendous passion for personal growth. I know without a doubt in my mind that he is guiding us from the Heavens now. Much, much love to his sweetheart Dolores. I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you David for all the wonderful gifts you offered the world and for the light that you are. You are so loved.

I'm going to miss David. I miss him already. One of the few clients I consistently met for a meal to talk as much about random, interesting topics as about his web site and marketing. From my perspective, he valued connection and meaning above most all else. He truly enjoyed making a difference in peoples' lives.

My deepest sympathy and compassion and love for Dr David Scott Litton and his wife Dolores and family and co-workers, patients, and so many friends. He helped me for many many years and was still...also my mom. He will be missed and is always a very special person in my life, saved my life many times and in many ways, with his warm, caring, empathic friendly, positive voice, heart and soul. My prayers go out to Dolores and all that love him!!! An angel in heaven watching over all, I feel that indeed. Sadness and heavy heart today...as I just learned of his passing last night..Much Aloha dear friend...

Many people will recognize this art...

David's compassion made him a wonderful therapist and a good friend. In the past 20 years I have been able to rely on his good sense and dependability as a business partner. We were able to consult with each other on therapy questions as well as business issues. I miss his steady counsel.
We will all miss his skeptical take on most politicians and his courage in letting others know his opinions. His letters to the editor of the Austin American Statesman were a source of pride with him. He enjoyed being heard as a citizen of this city, and was glad when others shared his views.
Most of all, the many people he has helped over the years will miss his wisdom his love. We all miss him already.
Vaya con Dios, David.
