Dennis F. Lastique

Dennis F. Lastique June 22, 1938 - Dec. 18, 2008 Dennis Felix Lastique, 70 years old, died in Seton Highland Lakes Emergency Room in the early morning of December 18, 2008 of a massive heart attack. He was born in Brooklyn, New York to Felix Albert Lastique and Adele Viola Branker Lastique. Dennis is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ithro J. Lastique, and his sister, Carol A. Lastique who lives in Austin. Dennis joined the Air Force and went to work for IBM when leaving there. In 1972, he moved to Austin, Texas where he started the first Word Processing Center and later started the first Computer Training Center in Austin with a partner. He later did computer consulting, training and programming. Rosary Services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Mass at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Burnet. A Funeral Mass will also be held at Our Mother of Sorrows in Burnet at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 24, 2008.
