Donna PURGASON Obituary

PURGASON, Donna

Following a brief Illness, Donna Purgason died at home. Donnas was born April 6, 1954 in Gary, IN. to Marereath Keck and Willford Keck. She attended St. Marks Catholic School until 8th grade then was transferred to Calumet High School where she graduated in 1972. She loved to travel, go camping, gardening, and owned many pets. She fed not only her own, but all the wild animals and strays in the neighborhood. She was also a very good cook. She was a very kind and gentle person to anybody or anything in need. She also loved to dress up in unusual and very colorful clothing, and enjoyed many of our family and friends gatherings. She was easy to love and get to know. She liked just about everybody she met and will be missed by a lot of people. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed by her husband. She is survived by her husband John Purgason, daughter Tracey, son Dylan, and many extended family members on both sides of the family.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2:00PM at Austin Peel & Son Funeral Home.

John , you are very lucky to have had Donna to share your life with. I will always remember when Donna and you visited me in Saginaw in Sept 09. I know we will all miss her.
God bless and keep you, John!
