(01/04/2003) Eliza Davis On Thursday, December 26, 2002, one day past celebrating the birth of Christ, our family celebrated the passing of Eliza Davis who was sent home to be with our Lord and Savior. Though her life seemed short lived, her love will never be forgotten. We'll remember her as a good soul, strong willed woman who valued her family above all else. Eliza Davis was born in Austin, Texas on May 12, 1971, the daughter of Elijah Christon and Beverly Davis. She is survived by her son, Christon Elijah Davis; her brothers, DeNell, Quincy, Shawn, and Ron Davis; her beloved mother, Beverly Davis; and spiritual mothers, Mrs. Evelyn Cline and Mrs. Betty Moon. Funeral service today, 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of King-Tears Mortuary, Inc. Interment Bedford Cemetery.
