I was on maternity leave when I learned of Erin's passing, which makes the last email she sent to me wishing me a safe and healthy delivery all the more special. When I reflect on Erin's memory, my mind is filled with her radiant smile and her eyes that always seemed to hold a bit of excitement in them, even when we were in the most boring of meetings. I can only imagine what a fun and caring person she must have been outside of work. I am sorry that Erin had to leave so soon. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and close friends. God bless you all.

Dear Erin,
It seems that it was just yesterday we had lunch at the Bluebonnet Cafe while chaperoning our kiddos on their 5th grade field trip. I remembered you looked so happy talking about your upcoming date with Steve. It seems that it was just yesterday that I watched you run down the hill after Vikram's Cub Mobile Derby car, wanting to protect him. It seems that it was just yesterday that you were beaming when Madhavi performed one of the lead role in the 5th grade school play. I will miss your radiant smile and kind personality. I will keep Madhavi, Vikram, and Steve in my prayers.

I will miss her beautiful face and contagious smile. Erin was so dedicated to her kids and obviously loved them tremendously. I will be praying for her family, her kids and Steve for them to have complete comfort in their grieving process.

I just found out today. I am so saddened by the loss of Erin. However, I will try very hard to remember the joy with which she lived her life and be thankful that she shared some of that with me and my family. She and her family are in my thoughts.

I did not got a chance to work for long with Erin though I wanted to. She was a great boss, never tensed, alwsys cheerful and a friend to discuss any problem. May Allah bless her family in this difficult time.

Although we only met Erin on Skype, we are very sad with her physical departing. She was going to marry Steve, a very good friend and almost part of our family. We are really sorry Steve, since we know what a great couple you made and that both of you went through a lot of hardships in life before you met. I am sure Erin will be with you always. I am unable to believe that you are now very far from us. It is still very difficult to believe!
To me, you will always remain as a treasure which I got during my life. Today I am broken and depressed as I lost someone who was really special. I know I will not get any other person in my life that will be so cheerful; gentle and kind like you were. There will be a gap in everyone's life with whom you have spent any time. I will truly miss Erin's smiling and cheerful self. It has been an honor to know her over the last few years. I enjoyed our Saturday morning breakfast visits living in the apartments and our time working together with Roaring Readers. My heart goes out to Vikram, Madhavi, and Steve. Just know that she is in a better place and will be waiting for you with open arms.

Erin, I cannot believe that you are gone. When I received the news I was just stunned, and your death has had a huge impact on me. We worked together at PPD and at INC, and you and your beautiful children had been to my home several times. We laughed a lot, and I always enjoyed you. I will miss you. Your passing has taught me that life can end in a split second when you least expect it, and therefore we need to take each minute and hold it close to our heart and cherish our time. The world has truly lost a lovely soul. Erin had charm, sensitivity, kindness and generosity seldom seen. The room lit up when she walked into the room and her laughter and smile were contagious. It was abundantly apparent how dearly she loved her children and they always came first. I have a very heavy heart today as do countless others. There is no doubt that Erin had a wonderful effect on everyone she met. She will never be forgotten.

I only met Erin once, at a poolside barbeque with Madhavi, Vikram, and her fiancée Stephen (my brother), but I was impressed by her kindliness, intelligence and charm. I didn't think it was possible to smile when reading this obituary - kudos to Madhavi, Vikram, Steve, Carl, and Sam! I am so grateful to have known Erin and am honored to have called her a friend. I worked with Erin and can attest to her wit, intelligence, charm and love for those kiddos!! She was so very proud of them and loved them dearly!
