Evangelina SAUCEDO Obituary
Evangelina C. Saucedo passed away surrounded by her family, on Thursday February 16, 2017 at the age of 79. She was born in Bastrop, Texas on August 27, 1937 to Gonzalo and Dominga Celedon and was one of thirteen children; sisters Manuela (Keta) Bausley, Dominga Tovar and brothers Manuel, Frank (Pancho), Luis, Tony, Celestino (Tino), Julio Celedon and Rudy Ancira. She is preceded in death by her husband Felipe T. Saucedo and granddaughter Brittany Saucedo, both her parents, sisters Josepha, Esperanza Celedon and brothers Manuel, Gonzalo Jr., and Felipe Celedon. She is survived by her eight children; Felipe (Rosie), Steve (Melissa), Jane (Bill) Martinez, John Albert (Petra), Peter (Sherrie), Rose (Javier) Saucedo, Sylvia Ann (Victor) Mokarzel, Edward (Melissa); 35 grandchildren (ages 9 - 39 yr), 28 great-grandchildren (ages 1 month - 21 yr) and a multitude of loving nieces, nephews and friends. Her sweet spirit and smile will be tremendously missed. The family would like to express their gratitude for the excellent care given to Evangelina during her illness to Trinity Care Center, Round Rock, TX, Seton Hospital Main of Austin and Hospice Christopher House, Austin, TX. Visitations will be held Monday February 20th at 5:00 p.m., at Angel Funeral Home, 1600 South 1st, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday February 21st at Sta. Julia Catholic Church, 3010 Lyons Rd. at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35.
