Glenn QUICK Obituary
Feb.1, 1927 - Aug. 28, 2016 Glenn Quick passed on Sunday, August 28, 2016. He was born in Austin on February 1, 1927 to Carl and Dora Quick. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1949 with the Class of '47 after spending 2 years in the US Army Air Corps. He was a resident of San Antonio for over 60 years, a lifetime member of the Associated General Contractors, and a longtime member of Laurel Heights United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Harold; his wife of 59 years, Joyce; and their daughter, Peggy. He is survived by his son, Randall Quick and his wife Pam; and their two children, Krista and Garrett. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2016, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2016, 1:00 P.M. COOK WALDEN/FOREST OAKS MEMORIAL PARK 6300 W. WILLIAM CANNON DR. AUSTIN, TEXAS.

It has been such a privilege to get to know Glenn while living in Coppell. I enjoyed worshipping with him each week at River Oaks. He also had such a sweet spirit and never complained about anything. He always wanted to know how I was doing. I am so happy to know that he is in heaven now with Jesus and completely healed. His favorite request to sing was The Old Rugged Cross.
