Harry Biller Obituary

Harry Walton Biller III
05/01/1956 - 11/05/2025
We share with heavy hearts the passing of Harry, whose life was so full of joy and energy that it's difficult to imagine a world without him in it. He loved his family and friends fiercely and would give anything he had-his time, his hard work, even his last dollar-to someone in need. His absence leaves a tremendous void, but we take comfort in knowing he had professed his faith in Christ and is now in Heaven. There, we imagine him reunited with beloved family and treasured friends who went before him-already swapping stories, rock hunting, and adventuring.
Harry was born in Leesburg, Virginia, to Wanda and Harry Biller. As part of a military family, he spent his childhood moving around the country.
He met and married Cyndi (Gruver) Biller, with whom he shared two children, Kia and Cody. After a childhood spent on the move, he sought stability for his own children and put down roots among the pine trees of Bastrop, Texas-a place he loved that always felt like home. As his children grew, he married Carri (Whitehead) Biller and became a second father to her daughters, Kaeli and Calli.
Harry worked most of his life as a sheet metal worker, helping build large government buildings and hospitals in Texas and the Washington, D.C., area. He retired with Sheet Metal Union Local 100. He made friends everywhere he went and remained close with many of his fellow union members.
He was happiest outdoors-something he joyfully shared with his children when they were young and continued to treasure in retirement. He could often be found wandering Enchanted Rock, relaxing at Lake Travis, exploring Big Bend, or spending a day at the beach. He loved searching for rocks, arrowheads, and discarded treasures. He adored his pets, cherished being a Pop-Pop, and bled burnt orange for his Texas Longhorns. He welcomed everyone as family, never met a stranger, and lived with a zest for life that was unmistakable.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Wanda; Kia and Cody's mother, Cyndi; Kaeli and Calli's mother, Carri; and many beloved family members and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Kia Biller, and grandson Kingsley of Austin, TX; his son and daughter-in-law, Cody and Kori Biller, and grandchildren Beverly and Sterlin of Houston, TX; his stepdaughters, Kaeli (James) McCrady and granddaughter Grace of Blue, TX, and Calli Farris and grandson Ayden of Blue, TX. He is also survived by his brother, John "JD" Biller, and sister, Lynn Folk, both of Harpers Ferry, WV, along with many more family members and close friends who will miss him dearly.
We love you, Dad, Pop-Pop, Harry, Trey. May your light remind us to connect with one another and to shine a little brighter each day.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 13, 2025, from 1-3 PM at Neighbor's Kitchen & Yard in Bastrop, Texas. Please join his family and friends in honoring a lifetime of good stories, good company, and the good heart he shared with all.
In honor of Harry and his legacy of giving back, please consider donating to someone in need, offering a helping hand, or simply showing kindness to those you meet each day.
