Family-Placed Obituary
James W. Schrader Sr., of Austin, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2004. He was an avid hunter and was a lifetime member of the NRA, North American Hunting Club, and the Safari Club International. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Flora Schrader; sons, James W. Schrader Jr. and wife, Shelly of Crowley, TX, Steven E. Schrader and wife Bobbi of Lawrence, KS, Christopher K. Schrader of Austin, and Travis A. Schrader of Austin; grandchildren, Jason G. Schrader of Crowley, TX, Bayn A. Schrader of Lawrence, KS, Mika R. Schrader of Lawrence, KS, and Colton R. Hays of Crowley, TX; numerous other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 16, 2004, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home . Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 17, 2004, in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions made in James' memory to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or the American Diabetes Association.
