Austin - Jane Waite Wilson, passed away August 4, 2020 in Austin, Texas.
She is survived by a wonderful and loving family. Son, Steven Wilson and wife Tereasa. Son, Tracy Wilson and wife Doreen and sons Zachary and Troy. Daughter, Carol Callahan and husband Ron and sons Riley, Kelly and wife Tyler, and great-granddaughter and namesake Allye Jane, Corey and Colter. Granddaughter, Kristin Ritchie and mate Travis Brown and sons Gavin and Peyton and ex-son-in-law, Joseph Ryckoff and many special nieces and nephews and so many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Ryckoff, her parents Edna and Leonard Waite of Birmingham, PA, several brothers and a sister and their mates. But most especially by her awesome, amazing husband and father of their children, Colonel Myrl E. Wilson.
Jane enjoyed 28 years as an Air Force military wife with tours of duty in Maryland, Alabama, Izmir, Turkey, Kansas, Massachusetts, Ohio, California, San Antonio and Wichita Falls, Texas.
Jane was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church since 1980. She enjoyed being a member of the United Methodist Women's
Hannah Circle, The Discussion Class, Cokesbury's Amazing Gray's Choir - singing at many retirement/nursing homes over the years,
The Lunch Bunch, Bowling Group, Game Day at church and showing movies there also. She was a member af the North Austin Civic Association. She enjoyed game nights with the neighborhood group, also Friday morning coffees where she shared a few jokes. She was a member of The Retired Officer's Wives Club. She enjoyed reading, oil painting, singing, games with friends and family and traveling with the goal of crossing one more destination off her Bucket List every year. She had a good life and enjoyed it all.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, Salvation Army or Community First Loaves and Fishes.
