Justin Whitehead Obituary

Justin R. Whitehead Justin R. Whitehead was a gregarious young man who never met a stranger. When he spoke to you, he made you feel like you were the most interesting person in the room and that there was no where he would rather be. He was passionate about knowledge, a voracious reader, and always had a colorful story to share. He battled his illness courageously and with his sense of humor intact. From surviving 9/11 to traveling around the world, he made a point of immersing himself into his into his remarkable and memorable life. He lost his fight peacefully Monday morning in his home in Austin, Texas. He was 32. He was a devoted son to Mendy and Randy Whitehead, a watchful brother to Emily Alexander, a doting uncle to three devoted nieces and an affectionate grandson to Colleen Brown. Special thanks to Christina, Carmen Ulli and Cruz, without whom his life would have been a little less bright. He was my best friend, my husband and my soul-mate. I saw the world with him and through him. A piece of my heart will always be with his heart. "Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance" -anonymous Services will be held at Smith Chapel at Riverbend Church on January 26th at 2:00 p.m. Memorials and guestbook online at http://wcfish.com
