Kelly Depew Obituary
Kelly Francis Depew Kelly Francis Depew, 21, of Pflugerville, formerly of Austin, died March 25, 2006, in a car accident in Burnet County. Kelly was born March 5, 1985, in Austin, Texas. Kelly was filled with a contagious joy that permeated each and every life instantly. Her outward beauty pales in comparison to the beauty of her soul. She touched everyone ~ her family and her friends ~ with her joy, her constant sweet disposition, her sincere and selfless approach to life, the unending kindness she always showed, her rock solid strength, and her HUGS. Our lives are blessed because of you. Kelly is survived by her mother, Gayle E. Lilley and husband, Jerry; her father; Michael F. Deprew and wife, Laurie; and her brothers, Stephen Depew, Kevin Depew, and Jacob Lilley. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Frances Mahaffey; her paternal grandparents, James M. Depew and May Frances Depew; her aunt, Debbie Wright and husband, Mark; three uncles, James M. Depew, Jr. and wife Angie, Stephen Mahaffey and wife Becky, and Russell Seidenberger; her cousins, other relatives and many friends. Kelly was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Keith Mahaffey. Visitation will be between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2006, at the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Thompson of Walnut Creek Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Cemetery.

Kelly was a nice and outgoing friend of mine. The memory I have of her was when she had a sleep over at her mom's house for her birthday. I din't forget that because I had gotten in trouble and I couldn't stay the night. I tried to keep in touch with Kelly. I miss her so much. She was the only one who understood me and I love her. Another memory was when her step mom Laurie's dog bite me. I still loved Kelly she was my good friend and i'll never forget her.:) I love you Kelly

Dear Kelly,
I cannot believe you are gone, but I will always remember you like a ray of sun-shine. We were together from 3rd grade (iconoclasts to say the least, both blond with a tomboy edge :) ) to Belles. YOu are going to be missed. I loved your unristrained spirit!

Kelly was the most wonderful person I have ever met. I met her my junior year at Anderson. She was always so happy and always smiling. My most fond memory of her is the way she would RUN up to me and give me the biggest hug you could imagine. Even on my worst days Kelly ALWAYS knew how to make me smile and forget about everything that was going wrong. I will miss her terribly and my thoughts and prayers will be with all of her friends and family. I'm sooo sorry for your loss. Kelly really was a wonderful person! I love you Kelly!

I knew Kelly from Middle school and High school. She was such an awesome person, that could make anyone laugh or smile at the drop of a hat. She knew just the right things to say to put you in a good mood if you were feeling down. I met kelly when i worked at the IHOP in pflugerville. I remember she would always come in with a cheerful smile. We would all go out after our shift bowling, or to eat at denny's. When i finally quit ihop, i applied at stepping stone and did my training at the one she worked at, and got to see her cheerful smile again. it is such a tragedy and my thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of need.

I knew her as "Miss Kelly" from Stepping Stone, where she was my son's teacher. Kelly was so friendly and bubbly and the kids adored her. Losing Kelly breaks my heart for her family and for the children that she was helping to shape every day.

Kelly was a good friend of mine.She was the first friend i made when i started at Anderson High School.She was always smiling and knew how to put me in a good mood when i was down.We had alot of good times together.She will be in my heart and her family in my prayers.We will miss you Kelly.

I am so sorry for the loss of Kelly. She was beautiful and always so kind to me. I remember going to the hospital when she was born and getting to hold her when she was just a few hours old. Our familys have been thru so much together I just know that Mother and Kelly are both watching over all of us. God Bless each of you and know I'm praying for your family.
