Keri Atkins Obituary

(10/24/2003) Keri Marie Atkins was born May 7, 1974. She went on to her new home with God on October 21, 2003. Keri is survived by her mother, Janice Atkins; father, Robert Atkins; sister, Jennifer Atkins; grandmother, Mimi; her second mother, Harriett McNeill; and her soul mate, Dale McNeill (Daddy). Keri has many loving friends too great in number to list. Keri graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 2001 with a degree in advertising. Keri was a gifted artist and photographer whose work touched the lives of many people. Keri was a beautiful woman; apparent to anyone who saw her. Even more spectacular was her inner beauty, which to the people closest to her is a gift that will never be forgotten. Keri is known for her intelligence, compassion and infectious charm. To know her is to love her. Keri suffered from a debilitating neck injury, which was a source of incredible and constant pain. She is my Princess and there will be a void in my life until the day we are reunited in heaven. Princess, I know you are in a better place now. I know all the pain is gone and you are happy. Princess, you are the most loving, loyal and giving person I have ever known. You were always there for me and even now through the greatest trial of my life; I feel the warmth of your presence. I miss you and I love you. Many things will come and go in my life, but you will always be my one and only Princess. Love always, Daddy. I would like to extend a special thanks to Jenni Bryant for all her help and support for Keri and me. She was always there for her through the difficult times. Jenni, Keri and I couldn't have made it without your support. There will be a memorial service Saturday 10:30 a.m. at Remembrance Gardens at the River Bend Church, 4214 Hwy 360 in Austin. For more information you can call Dale at 512- 633-8715.
