Its been 8 years Bro...and I hope all is well with your soul in 'Fiddler's Green', (where sailors go after out deaths).

Rev. Reese, Heather and grandbabies, I remember meeting your father at your wedding and immediately knew where your preaching and prayer life came from.

I had hoped to go to the homegoing but reconsidered because of the length of the trip. You have my love and my prayers that you will remember the good times and the hopes your dad had for you. I'm sure he was not disappointed and was proud of you, Rev. Reese as the young man he and your mom produced. God be with you and your family. Sis. Betty

Lee and I served together in the Navy. I was his Leading Petty Officer (LPO) in those days. Lee was an outstanding Sailor and a genuine good Christian person, well liked by his shipmates. He always accepted challenges without complaint and he was always there for all of us. Last I saw Lee, I was in Granger some 20-25 years ago, outside of his church which he had been recently ordained after his discharge from the Navy. I wasn't surprised that he became a minister because unlike many of us, he did not cuss or 'talk bad' as most sailors did in those days (and probably still do (-: ) I remember it was really good to see him and we spoke for a while before I had to leave. I congratulated him for his calling.
Lee, Rest In Peace, dude. Well done!!
BRAVO ZULU..
Condolences to your family.

Rev. Reese was a cousin of mine. His greatgrandfather and my greatgrandfather (Isom) were brothers. I spoke to him at many family reunions throughout the years. May the Lord Jesus transition our beloved brother Rev. Lee Reese into His Heavenly Kingdom. May the Lord Jesus forgive my cousin of all his sins committed on this side of the Kingdom of God.
