It is your Birthday today Beautiful. December 21st. Today I am going to see you at your grave. I haven't had the courage to do it but today I just have too. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I miss you so much. You where one of my Best Friends. We talked about everything. Literally it feels like yesterday when I would be going to sleep and you would just be waking up in the summer. I remember so much. It's so hard that you are gone. It really is. But I am doing better slowly. There will always be a hole in my heart tho. I can't wait too see you again in Heaven. These few months you have been gone you missed a lot. But I know you are happy up there with everyone again. I love you forever and always. Until we meet again keep watching me from heaven. Remember It was always us. ( Callie , Meme and you granny )

Aunt Lela, after all these years, I never knew I was named after you, we share middle names. You came to my rescue when I needed you the most, you where my rock when my world fell apart. I will always love you. I wish I had come to visit. I will never forget Christmas at your home, the huge tree, the mountain of gifts for all the children in the family, the love. It was at your home where I was introduced back to the family at 10 years old. I remember trips to the lake, fishing, chasing horny toads at your home. Till we meet again. You where so very loved.

Granny Lela,
I love and miss you more than words can express. You were always so strong willed and independent; I will always remember the time when you took me fishing on the boat and a storm rolled in, you wrapped a blanket around me and held me close, you comforted me, and made me feel safe.
You were there, holding my hand, through a painful medical procedure, I remember watching your eyes tear up as I struggled with the pain, reassuring me that I would be okay.
When someone really needed you, you were always there, willing to help. I wish we had had more time. This life won't be the same without you. Until we meet again. I love you

My prayers are with all of you. I am Lelas cousin although I didn't know her well. I am sad to admit that. I wish I had known her. She really looked like our Grandma Miller a lot. God bless you all.
