Louis was a few years older than I but I remember he being a swell guy and who came from a christian family. We didn`t associate together. but he had some swell followers who enjoyed golfing and playing football at the vacant lot adjoining their home. He is missed.

My heartfelt condolences to Betty, Timothy, Michael and Louis's siblings. I am deeply saddened to hear of Louis' passing.
Louis and I grew up together. I have fond and vivid memories of our friendship which included playing ball at the old red schoolyard grounds and also in the vacant lot next to his home. We walked together early morning weekdays to serve Mass with Father Sylvester O'Toole and made trips to the swimming pool in Bastrop State Park.
We graduated High School together and also signed up for the Navy around the same time.
PLease know my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

mom and dad are there to meet you with open arms. Can you imagine the welcoming you will receive by them and God? Very sad losing someone but at the same time no more suffering and worrying for you know where he is.

To Betty and sons, my heart goes out to you now. I have such wonderful memories of Louis' generosity for others and the kindness that was shown to me as an employee with both you and Louis. You both are wonderful people and I know Louis will be greatly missed by all who knew him and enjoyed his friendship, his company, his generosity. God's blessings to you all.

To the Selvera's - May God keep you close at this time of your sorrow. I was younger than Louis when we were going up on Williams Street, but I do have very memorable thoughts of him. From what I remember, he was someone you were always wanting to be around. He seem to have an unlimited sense of making people feel good while being around him.
