Lydia Aguirre Obituary

Lydia Cano Aguirre Lydia Cano Aguirre, 43, passed away November 26, 2006, in Austin as a result of an automobile accident. She is survived by her husband, Miguel Angel Aguirre of Austin; two sons, Miguel Angel Aguirre, Jr., and Michael Edward Aguirre, both of Austin. She is also survived by her parents, Jose and Concepcion Cano of Mercedes; two brothers, Ramiro (Yolanda) Cano of Mercedes, Ruben Cano of Austin; two sisters, Maria (Rueben) Cole of Mission, Rachel (Martin) Ruis of Mercedes; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lydia was a member of San Jose Catholic Church of Austin. A rosary was recited at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Mercedes, with burial following at Mercedes Memorial Restlawn under the direction of the Garcia & Trevino Funeral Home of Mercedes.
