Bunny,
I am so very sorry for the loss of this dear lady in your life.
I apologize, I am just now finding out about her passing. I would have definitely been at her memorial yesterday, had I known.
Your mom was always such a joy to talk with and visit with. Her smile was always so infectious. I have been looking for you both every UT game, but have missed seeing you.
You were a fabulous daughter and she was so fortunate to have you around to take care of her. I know you will miss her, but I know she is smiling down upon you from heaven.
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

What precious memories came to my attention as I recalled my friendship with Marjorie and her dear family. During the years we worked together at Texas AFL-CIO we shared many happy times and especially during those times when she would bring those good things to eat which she had made in her kitchen (a wonderful cook). She always made me feel as if I were family. Her life was an example of Christlike love and compassion. To her dear family I extend my love and condolences. My life has been blessed for having her as my friend. Burl Davis

Bunny: God Bless you for being the wonderful daughter that you were to your mom. Marjorie was my friend and we shared many hours just sharing about good positive things when we worked together at the Texas AFL-CIO. She was a woman of God! You and your family are in my prayers. Much love.

A perfect description of beautiful inside and out Marjorie Brown is the quote, "A friend is a masterpiece of nature." She was always so kind, caring, helpful, fun, and dear and truly the heart of UT baseball fans. Marjorie will be missed greatly by so many, but I especially know she is now an invaluable guardian angel in Heaven for all us. My deepest sympathy and love to Bunny and family and close friends...the memorial service was so exactly what Marjorie would have wanted and she was with us every second of it today. Hook Em Horns Always!!! Love, Cathy Munson and parents

It has been my joy and privilege to know Marjorie for a number of years. Our connection was the Kindergarten Reading Program, Project Young at Heart, at Oak Hill Elementary School. She was a wonderful volunteer who dearly love reading to the children and came for years to share her beautiful smile and willing heart. I have had the opportunity to stay in touch over the years and feel blessed to call her my friend.

Both Gates and I were so blessed to know this wonderful woman! She welcomed us, Jared and Noah into her arms with love and care. Her sense of humor, her love of family and passion for learning and the Longhorns was infectious! We love you.
