I am saddened by the loss of Martin Allday, but I know Heaven is rejoicing over his entry. I can thank him for so many things, but I certainly have wonderful memories from my time working for President GHW Bush as an intern. What an incredible and positive impact he has had on so many.

Dear Allday Family: I just read about Mr. Allday and my heart aches at your loss. He was always kind and generous with his advice to me whether it was the oil business or in politics here in DC. I will miss having him at the other end of the phone.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

2 Timothy 4:7 tells us: I have fought the good fight. I have completed the race. I have kept the faith.

I don't know if there is any saint that this verse is more applicable to. I know that Martin is hearing the words "Well done thy good and faithful servant" right about now.

Martin Allday was a devoted friend to my family, a mentor to many of us, and a servant to those he never met. What a blessing to have known him and what a gift he was to this world.

Our prayers are with our beloved Allday family as you mourn his passing while celebrating the resurrection. I pray that God's healing touch may carry you through this time of loss and that you celebrate his remarkable life.
