Morris BOUCHER Obituary

BOUCHER, Morris R.

Morris R. Boucher of Bastrop, TX. died Feb. 26, 2014 at the age of 80. He was born in Scottsboro, AL on Oct. 1, 1933. He is survived by wife Mary Ann, sons John M. and James, brother John C. , furry friend "Scooter", granddaughters Stephanie, Kali, Josie, Jackie, and great grand daughters Raven and Sasha. A Memorial Service will be held at the Episcopal Church, 603 Spring St, Bastrop, TX. on Saturday March 15th 2014. It will start at 6 P.M. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Pflugerville Education Foundation Fund in his name.

My father Morris Raymond Boucher was the greatest teacher I have ever known. I am often quoted as saying that if we could pick our parents from a catalog I would have picked Morris and Maryann. To sum up his life beliefs i think most adroit was the quote from Socrates - "We cannot live better than in seeking to become better" .
