Peggy Simmons Obituary

Peggy A. Simmons, 63, passed away on Tuesday, July 23 2024 at Stonebridge Nursing Home surrounded by family. Peggy is survived by her daughters Michelle (Erik) Zarse and Nicole (Justin) Zarse, and grandchildren Kai, Niko, and Ronan. Peggy was a beloved member of the Austin community and will be greatly missed. The Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Cook-Walden Funeral Home (14501 N IH-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660). Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Celebration of Life will follow the Memorial Service and run until 6 p.m.

Flowers may be sent to the funeral home by Friday, August 2, 2024. Donations may be made to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD), which was Peggy's form of early-onset Alzheimer's.
