Robert "Bobby" Bruciaga Jr, 58, went to be with our heavenly father on the evening of July 29, 2024, surrounded by family.

Bobby is survived by his mom Maria A. Balandran, his sons Eli and Ryan Bruciaga, his sister Nina and husband Ramon Samaniego, sister Grace and husband Sergio Soto Jr., ex-wife Bonnie Lopez, nephews Adam Ray, John Peter, Samuel, Gabriel, and niece Gihanna.

He was born March 15, 1966 in Austin, TX. Bobby was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will always be remembered as a hard working, outgoing, jokester. He had a talent for art, making projects, gardening, and his favorite hobby was fishing. One famous quote he was known for was "Who luvs ya!".

Robert was that friend that would give u his shirt off his back. He had a heart of gold. He was a kid inside. Always smiling and staying positive was how he lived his life. Most of all gonna miss that laugh of his. And I'll never forget another quote he would say to me "Don't cheat yourself ,treat yourself." No one will ever compare to Robert. Gonna miss you friend. Hope we meet again.

Whenever I visited my tia over the years, he was always the first one to greet me with his big infectious smile, warm hug, and the most sincere, heartfelt, "Hi mijo, welcome home! I've missed you, so glad to see you!" Since I was a boy, he has been one of the most genuinely caring people I have known. He truly wore his heart on his sleeve and made everyone feel like they mattered. I am grateful he was in my life and that as an adult, I was able to work along side him for a short while and get to know him better. I am grateful I was home during his passing instead of deployed, and that I had the opportunity to visit with him before he passed. To me, he was the epitome of kindness, resiliency, humility, and love that only a father can give. I love you tio, I'm going to miss you. We are all going to miss you.
