Robert Coleman Obituary

Robert Craig Coleman, 58, passed away on September 17, 2025 at his home in Pflugerville, Texas, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on November 14, 1966 in Killeen, Texas, to Dr. Robert (Bob) and Jimmie Coleman, Robert spent most of his formative years in Waco, Texas, riding horses and raising calves, hunting and fishing, riding motorbikes and fixing cars. After graduating Midway High School in 1985, he earned his Culinary Arts degree at Texas State Technical Institute, and worked as a chef and manager for steakhouses in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Robert changed careers upon moving to Austin, Texas, as he developed expertise in the corporate printing and copying industry. He most recently worked at Austin's McCarthy Print for the past 16 years. He loved camping and fishing, working on his beloved truck, and counting down the days to his favorite holiday, Halloween. Rock and roll made up the soundtrack of his life, earning him his nickname, "Rockin' Robert". Robert is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Dr. James and Elizabeth Coleman. Our family greatly appreciates all the love and support given by Robert's many friends over the years and those near and dear to him as he departed this world for the comfort and joy of Heaven. A celebration of his life will be held on October 11th at 12:30 p.m. at Robert's favorite restaurant, Springhill Catfish in Pflugerville. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Robert's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
