Robert Edge Obituary

The family of Rodney Edge is sorry to announce that Rod passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at home in his favorite chair. Rod was a Veteran who served in the US Marine Corps,. His working career was spent in IT programming, last for Occidental Petroleum. Rod is survived by wife, Joanne Edge, sons Robert (Bobby) Edge, Austin, and Steven and daughter-in-law Martha Edge and beloved granddaughters Abby, Annie and Belen, Kyle TX; brother Gary Don Edge, Lexington NC; sister-in-law Glenda Edge, Carthage TX; brothers- and sisters-in-law Joe and Gayle Dunn, Hot Springs Village AR, Bob Dunn, Houston, Mike and Norma Dunn, Fulshear TX; and by a number of nieces and nephews. Rod was predeceased by his parents Eldon and Rosa Lee Edge and brother Ralph Edge, Carthage; granddaughter Maya Elizabeth Edge, Austin; Brother-in-law Bill Dunn, Katy TX; former wife Donna Chess Edge, Tulsa OK. In accordance with Rod's wishes, he will be cremated and no public service is planned. Arrangements by Heart of Texas Cremations.
