Any chance Bobby left behind an antique MacGregor putter? he borrowed it back in '75 and forgot to return it.

Bobby provided a lot of opportunities for Jr Golfers in the 70's. His dedication to the game started a lot of us to play golf and with his help many of us went on to play college golf. I will always be grateful for him giving me a job at Hancock Golf Course during my High School and College years.

Georgette, I was so very saddened to read of Bobby's death. What a very sad time for all. I remember so many fun bridge games, football games and Bobby always ready to hit the dance floor. My love and prayers are with you all. Love, Reeves

Georgette: I will always remember Bobby walking across Lions Municipal with a putter on his shoulder
and whistling like a songbird. Best wishes.

I never knew Bobby very well although we both were in many of the same classes at Austin High from 10th through 12th grade. I don't play golf so our paths did not crossed through the years. However Bobby and I shared a special relationship because we were both born on May 22, 1947 at the "old" Seton Hospital which was located just west of the UT campus..... and our mothers shared the same hospital room. Bobby was an inspiration to all of us junior golfers in Austin in the late 60's and 70's. The O'Henry Junior High Golf team that he coached was one of the best in the State and could beat most high school teams. Bobby's selfless dedication and enthusiasm for golf, people and life in general will always be remembered.

Bobby, you are missed, Crystal already missed you singing Happy Birthday to her this year. We will all miss that so much. We will miss your laugh and your kindness, you were a wonderful Papa Bob to Crystal and Gage. I am said that you won't be around to see them graduate and get married. Thank you for all the love you have shown me and my family over the years. I love you just like a dad. You are loved and always will be. I'm sure your Mom, Dad and Chance are very happy to see you again. We love you and will see you again on the other side.
