They say you can tell a man's character by how he treats the animals and how they respond. I'm pretty sure Roger is surrounded by four-legs on his new job assignment who welcome his calm and gentle soul.

It is a good thing that we old timers have our memories of our friends. When they are gone, they live on in our hearts and minds untill we to are gone.I will have no end of memories about Roger.

Uncle Roger,
Since my dad passed I have not seen you but you were a huge part of my childhood and my Father's best friend through good and bad. Your handsome looks and blue eyes were so Hollywood. I always thought growing up that you should be a cop in a movie not a cop in Austin :) You were a dear, beloved man to me and my family. I am truly sorry to hear this news and hope that you and my Daddy are celebrating together at the great Pistachios in Heaven. I love you. My sincere condolences to your family. Roger was one of the greats in this life. So many stories. Til you see him again I hope his love keeps guiding you and you always feel him with you.
