Roger Dale Napier
Roger Dale Napier Born in Del Rio Texas on the seventeenth day of July 1943 Roger passed last Sunday six days into the new year in Austin Texas with friends and family close by his side. Remembered by many for his 31 years of service with the Austin Police Department and for his efforts serving on the board of Velocity Credit Union. Roger was a loving husband, caring father, and fiercely loyal friend. He went to be with his late wife, Glenda (pictured above), daughter, and many friends who have been waiting for him to come home. He had an impact on many lives during his time in this world and will be missed dearly. We love you Dad, and will see you again one day.

They say you can tell a man's character by how he treats the animals and how they respond. I'm pretty sure Roger is surrounded by four-legs on his new job assignment who welcome his calm and gentle soul.

Until we meet again my friend take care of them for me.

Uncle Roger,
Since my dad passed I have not seen you but you were a huge part of my childhood and my Father's best friend through good and bad. Your handsome looks and blue eyes were so Hollywood. I always thought growing up that you should be a cop in a movie not a cop in Austin :) You were a dear, beloved man to me and my family. I am truly sorry to hear this news and hope that you and my Daddy are celebrating together at the great Pistachios in Heaven. I love you. My sincere condolences to your family. Roger was one of the greats in this life. So many stories. Til you see him again I hope his love keeps guiding you and you always feel him with you.

Roger, we will miss you very much. You were a wonderful friend, a great cop, and an unforgettable personality. The world will seem a little smaller without you. We hope you are happy now as you and Glenda are back together. We send blessings to your son, Jackson; your daughter, Allison, and to other members of your family. All our love, Paul and Crispin Ruiz
