(1940 - 2015)
Our beloved Roy Casas Garcia, Sr, age 74, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.
Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his loving wife, Victoria and his parents, Clemente and Augustina Casas.
Mr. Garcia leaves to mourn his passing, his children Roy (Suzanna) Garcia, Jr., Terrie (David Sr.) Chavez, and Mary Esther (Pete) Gonzales, brother, Joe Casas, sisters, Virginia Lopez and Frances Garcia Guevara, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Honored pall bearers for Mr. Garcia will be Danny Garcia, Ernest Garcia, Peter Anthony Gonzales, Marcos Guerrero, Gabriel Guerrero Jr., and Richard Trevino.
Visitation will begin at 3:00p.m., Friday, April10, 2015 with recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street (East).
Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Saturday at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr., Austin. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
