Ruby Schroeder Obituary

Ruby Mary Schroeder Ruby Mary Schroeder, age 93, of Lockhart, Texas passed away Monday, January 11, 2010 in Lockhart, Texas. She was born on January 31, 1916 to William Frederich and Annie Elizabeth (Dittmar) Von Quintus in Creedmoor, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Schroeder; daughter, Dorothy Schnautz; great-granddaughter, Marin Hyland; sisters, Rosa Anton and Pearl Rheinlander; and brothers, Walter Von Quintus, Alfred Von Quintus and Ernest Von Quintus. Mrs. Schroeder is survived by her son, Rudy Schroeder and his wife Ann of Lockhart, Tim Schroeder and his wife Jenny of Round Rock, and son-in-law, Kenneth Schnautz of Lockhart. She was also blessed to have in her life nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart. Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 14, 2010 at McCurdy Memorial Chapel in Lockhart with Rev. Carolyn Rosenbalm and Rev. Wayne Walther officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale. Arrangements under the care and guidance of McCurdy Funeral Home, 105 E. Pecan, Lockhart, Texas 78644, 512-398-4791.
