Santiago "Jimmy Ojeda Our beloved brother, Santiago "Jimmy Ojeda, went to meet his savior, our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, December 31, 2004. He was born May 1, 1957, in Austin, TX. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Heriberta Ojeda. He is survived by sons, Jimmy, Jr. and Elias; daughters, Monica and Esmeralda; and six grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, Merced, John, Julio, Victor; and sisters, Janie, Mary, Sylvia, Emma, Maggie, Lucy and Gloria. Recitation of Rosary Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Angel Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated Monday at 11:00 a.m. at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. Committal services will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Mendoza, TX. All of Jimmy s brothers and sisters thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every family or friend that helped in some way or gesture to make Jimmy s last days joyful and comfortable. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jimmy s name to Hospice Christopher House, 2820 E. MLK Blvd., Austin, TX 78702.

Jimmy may you rest in peace. Although our lives on earth was cut short, I, Nina, Gregory, Sofia, Gloriana and Ariana, will miss you. As a family we lived our lives in the faith our parents brought us into. You handled your challenges in a most courages way. You were a great dad to Esmi and Elias and I know that they will miss you but most of all your fatherly love. Thank you brother for your unconditional love and strong will. Jimmy, it was so great to have you as my brother. I know Our Creator blessed us with someone special when He sent you to the Ojeda family. I was so privileged to have spend the last hours with you. You were a very special person to all and it was very obvious at your rosary and Mass, with the multitude of people that were there. I know that Mom was anxious to have you home and to keep you from suffering any more. We are very fortunate to have the Catholic Faith Dad and Mom instilled in us, because I know that was what sustained the whole family, our complete trust in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and the protection of our Blessed Mother, La Virgen de Guadalupe.
