In her varied careers she was a mother, teacher, minister's wife, political activist, real estate agent, entrepreneur, accomplished writer and fisherwoman. She was active in AA, with 30 years sobriety. While battling her own illness, she helped others via friendships formed on the internet. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, love for her family, compassion for others, and strength in the face of adversity. An era has ended with the loss of Susie, but now she walks the great beach in the sky, hand in hand with God.
