I have very found memories of my cousin Billy. Such fun when all the cousins got together at grannies. Billy was always a big dreamer and optimistic little guy even in adulthood. I will always remember him as one of the cute ones.
RIP Billy
Until we meet again.

Billy was a cousin of mine which I have many fond memories that I will cherish always. Seems he was always first. First to have a car at a very early age, first, to marry at a very early age, first to swim at a very early age, first to have a nanny at a very early age and always got the pie he ordered from that dear soul and now second to die from our generation and too soon for us all. God speed.

Dad lived life to the fullest and dearly loved his wife and my stepmother, Georgia Duke. I remember him as someone who sincerely loved and cared for his children and his grandchildren. He adopted me at age 12 and provided me a model father figure that I could respect, love and admire and aspire to be like. I miss his humor, our deep conversations, and his sound advice. Hopefully I have some takeaways from his upbringing that I can carry on in his honor. Dad, I will always remember and cherish the good times we had together. Your son, Billy.

Georgia Ann, I'm not sure you remember me but I grew up in the Methodist Church in Victoria. Frankie Bruce and I were tennis partners at Patti Welder and VHS and I have fond memories of our years in the church choir with you and Crystal Patek, Gail Hindman, Doris Brown and Pat Meyer playing the organ. Gail is the only one I know anything about--she is a widow in Edna and still sings in the UMC choir over there. Frankie Bruce is a retired nurse and lives down at Ingleside. I live in Port Lavaca and remember Bill Duke being here when we first moved here in the 1960s. I did not know him, just remember he was in business and I remember the name. I'm very sorry for your loss. My daughter Molly (Mrs. George Drazic) lives in Austin and attends First UMC downtown. She is a night ER nurse at Seton Hosp. downtown and they own Efficient AC company. They live on the west side. Wish I could see you sometime when we are in Austin--we were very fortunate to grow up in the '50s and I surely do miss those years! Take care of yourself. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
