Anne was my counselor when I started college in 1994. Later I worked with her in the counseling center at Chemeketa. She got me started, encouraged me along the way, and mentored me while I went to college to become a counselor. She was a mirror for me--showing me that I could do it when I couldn't see this for myself. I am who I am today because Anne took the time to help me. I know in her 31 year career as a counselor she helped thousands of students in the same way. I will forever be grateful for the encouragement she gave to me and so many others. Now I work as a counselor at Chemeketa. I can only hope to be that mirror for students now. God bless you Anne.
