Cecilia Coleman Obituary
December 18, 1922 - May 16, 2014
Cecilia "Maureen" Coleman of St. Paul, Oregon died 15, May 2014 at the age of 91. She was born 18, December 1922 in St. Paul, Oregon to Maurice & Mary (McKay) Merten. On 5, August 1941 she married Donald F. "Buzz" Coleman in St. Paul, he died in 1998. Maureen and Don had a large family together and loved spending time with their children and Grandchildren. Besides family, she too enjoyed being a part of the St. Paul Catholic Church, volunteering for many parish activities and member of the St. Paul Rodeo Assoc. and was Rodeo Court Chaperone for 27 years.
She enjoyed being active in the community and will be missed by all.
Maureen is survived by her 10 children, her brother Charley Merten of North Plains, OR., 33 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, 19, May 2014 from 1-5 pm at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel. A Vigil service will follow at 6:00PM at St. Paul Catholic Church, St. Paul.
The funeral will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, St. Paul, Oregon at 4:30 PM; Wed. 21, May. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Rodeo Grounds Tack Room.
Interment in St. Paul Cemetery. Arrangements by Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul Parochial School Endowment Fund, St. Mary Catholic School, Stayton or Regis Catholic High School, Stayton, OR..
