Charles Edward "Chuck" London

SALEM - Born in Colon, Panama.  His father was a Lt. Commander in the Naval Air.  He lived in many states during his childhood.  In 1954, he moved his wife, Gayle; and son, Mike to Ketchikan, Alaska.  He founded the Seascouts there in 1958.  In 1969, he moved to Oregon.  In 1970, he married Claudette, she passed away in 1999.  He founded the Robic Corp. in 1975.  He enjoyed hunting and skiing, and later in life R.V.ing with his soul mate and companion, Alice Whitney. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Krista in 1971; and sisters, Annette and Beverly.  He is survived by his sons, Mike and wife Marcie, Tate and wife Debbie, and Jeff all of Seattle, Wash.  He is also survived by his brother, Dennis and wife Cindy of Salem; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and soul mate and companion, Alice Whitney. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12 to 4 p.m. on Sun., June 22 at Lakeside Village Mobile Home Parks Rec-Room, 3110 Turner Rd. SE., Salem.  Arrangements by City View Funeral Home.
