Curtis Woolard Obituary

SALEM - I will never be able to explain how wonderful of a man my pop was. He lived every day of his life with integrity and class and will be greatly missed by every one who had the privilege of calling him family or friend. I could not have had a better role model. He was born June 7, 1957 in Hollywood, Calif. and lived there until 1971 when his family moved to Salem. He worked for Brattain International for most of his life and was proud to be part of the Brattain family. My pop loved fishing, shooting, skateboarding, flying his RC planes, building models, working on his Healey and just dinking around the garage. He was truly great at everything he did. There wasn't a thing he couldn't fix or make better. No words can describe how much my mom and I are going to miss him. He always protected us, made us feel safe, and taught us both to be stronger people. He will be missed by his wife, Molly; daughter, Holly; his brothers and sisters, Frankie, Mark, Lisa, Jenn, Kim, and Jerry; his nieces and nephews, Todd Jr., John, Katie, Andy, Jennifer, and Kyle; his mother; step-mother; grandmother; the Brattain family; the Miller family; Warnock family; his buddy, Jim O'Neil and everyone else who had the honor of knowing my pop.In lieu of flowers, my pop would love donations to be sent to the Catholic Community Services/Walker House c/o PO Box 4132, Salem, OR, 97302. A celebration for my pop will be held at Wyatt's Eatery in Albany, April 27, from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
