SHERIDAN - Dorothy Marie Weaver died on September 10, 2007, at the age of 86, at Gram & Gramps Foster Care in Sheridan.Daughter of George Wesley and Susie Jane Sharer Fuller, she moved to Sheridan as a young girl where she attended school. She married Harold Weaver on September 11, 1941 in Salem. She resided in the Grand Ronde-Fort Hill area all of her married life. She worked for the Grand Ronde Grade School as a cook and then for the Grand Ronde Shopping Center and Birchell Store, primarily as a store clerk. She moved to Gram & Gramps Foster Care in Sheridan four years ago. She loved to play bingo and crochet, and loved music. The family said that her main interest was her love of family.She is survived by her sons, Larry of Siletz, Leslie of Corvallis, Richard of McMinnville, and David Weaver of Fairbanks, Alaska; daughters, Joyce Elmer of Grand Ronde, Verna Moehlmann of Willamina, and Susan Willis of Portland; brothers, Henry and Walter Fuller of McMinnville and George Fuller of Salem; sisters, Mary Turner of Portland and Barbara Scofield of Salem; 24 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Dwane; brothers and sisters, Rosalee Rassmassen, Violet Curl, Willabelle Kemper, Robert Fuller, Ron Fuller, Howard Fuller, Minerva Vandehay, Clarence Fuller, Bertha Fuller, and Glen Fuller.Viewing will be from 12 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 13 at the Chapel of Macy & Son in McMinnville. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 14 at the Sheridan Nazarene Church with Pastor George Scott presiding. Interment will follow at the Mennonite Cemetery near Willamina. Memorial contributions may be made to Grand-Sheriminia Food Bank, c/o Macy & Son. Arrangements are by Macy & Son Funeral Directors.
