FLORENCE -LETA JANE FULTZ on sunday November 27, 2011 Leta Jane Fultz passed peacefully at her home, surrounded by family and friends. Leta Jane Wolf Nelson Fultz was born June 3rd, 1932 in Los Angeles, California, a beloved only child to Ivan and Willeta Wolf. She graduated from North Hollywood High School, then married Donald Lee Nelson at age 20. They had 3 children together, Cindi Jane, Donna Lea and Scott David. After the marriage with Donald ended, Leta worked as a secretary, and at Disneyland she was in charge of hospitality, organizing and booking international group tours. The family used to joke that she was Mickey Mouse's personal secretary. Later she met, fell in love and married Wendell Francis Fultz. Wendell had 2 children, Cindy Sue and Randy Alan, who she accepted and loved as her own. Leta and family moved up North to Oregon in the Summer of 1972, and bought a farm outside of Lyons, where they lived happily for many years. Leta and Wendell moved to Florentine Estates in Florence in 1994, and traveled the USA in their 5th wheel. In 1997 she became a widow with the passing of Wendell on a trip down in Yuma, Arizona. Leta was a creative artist, active in a number of organizations, Church and civic groups, including PEO, PROSS, Sweet Adelines, the Florence Community Choir, square dancing, Lions Club and the Peace Harbor Hospital auxiliary. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Donna Marie Potts, Zev and Hadas Gabai, Megan Amerson, David, Heidi and Hillary Lieberman, Bryce and Casey Budlong, Cindi Janelle Mills, Margo and Milo Fultz, five great grandchildren, and 3 more on the way. Donations may be made in her memory to PEO or the Peace Harbor Hospital Auxillary. Funeral services will be held at Burns's Riverside Chapel on Friday December 2nd at 10 am. A private graveside service for family will be held later that day at Fairview Memorial Cemetery in Gates Leta had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh, along with a positive and gracious manner that brought joy to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed, and always remembered.
