October 13, 1924 - April 28, 2014
Lois was born in The Dalles, Oregon to Keith and Florence Reynolds. She was the 2nd child of 4. After completing high school Lois went to work in the Keizer Shipyards in Vancouver, WA. She worked in the Human Resources area processing new employees during World War II. It was while she was working here that she met her future husband, Herbert D. Gedney, Jr. He was stationed in Portland doing repairs to B-25 bombers that would come in. They were married on April 12, 1944 in Vancouver, Washington and just celebrated their 70th anniversary a couple of weeks ago.
Lois is survived by her husband, daughter, Marilyn Wubker of Salem and son, Herbert Douglas Gedney III of Seattle Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and her daughter Carol Ann Gedney.
A private family service will be held with interment in Mt. Crest Abbey Mausoleum. Arrangements are by City View Funeral Home.
