Max Lee DeLano

October 4, 1958 - March 18, 2011

DALLAS - Max was born in Aurburn Washington to Melvin and Dorothy Delano. He spent his teenage years growing up in Valsetz, Oregon graduating from Valsetz high school in 1978. In 1992, Max settled in North Salem with his wife and kids. He was a hardworking, well respected concrete finisher for 24 years. Max enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family, playing horse shoes with his friend, Dave and going on walks with his sister, Cherie. He also enjoyed watching and attending sporting events and spending time with his family and friends. He was very proud of his 27 years of sobriety. Max is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Delano; brother, Fred Delano; and nephew, Brian Underwood. He is survived by his children, Bradly Delano, Nichole Delano and Joshua Delano and well anticipated first grandson, Uriyah Dean Colvin; father, Melvin Delano; sisters, Maryann Headrick, Cherie Stewart, brother in law Bill Stewart and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Max's life is will be shared 12 pm, Sunday April 3rd at 450 Lacreole Dr. Greenway Mobile Home Park Recreational center in Dallas Oregon.
