Mina Lea Craig

Salem - Mina Lea Slaughter Craig, 92, of Salem, Oregon went to her heavenly home April 23, 2021. She was born at home April 11, 1929 in Glencoe, Oklahoma to Charles & Mary Slaughter and had eleven siblings.

Mina graduated from Eighth Grade in Ontario, Oregon and began work in a Dry Cleaners.

She married Donald Leroy Craig in September 1947. They attended Northwest Bible College in Kirkland, Washington. She pastored Assemblies of God churches alongside husband Don in Utah, Idaho, and Oregon, then as Evangelists before retirement.

As a vocalist and musician she played Accordion, Piano and Organ. She loved to worship Jesus, minister to people, teach Sunday School, led Women's Ministry and was an Intercessor (Prayer Warrior).

Mina dearly loved, served and prayed for her five children, thirteen grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. From the beginning she dedicated her children to God and encouraged them to follow God's purpose. She was blessed with a large and loving family who are carrying on her legacy.

She is survived by family and many friends whom she desires to love and serve Jesus.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 am Friday, April 30th at Willamette National Cemetery.
